Getting to the East Texas Book Fest
UT Tyler Ornelas Activity Center
3402 Old Omen Road
The UT Tyler Ornelas Activity Center is located near the UT Tyler campus, near the intersection of University Boulevard (Spur 248) and Old Omen Road. From all directions, access by way of Loop 323. It is on the southeast side of the Loop at 3402 Old Omen.
Travel east on Loop 323 ESE to Spur 248, turning right on Spur 248 (or University Drive). Continue about 1 mile east to Old Omen Road. Turn right and look for the bright blue roof of the Ornelas Center, 3402 Old Omen (A on Map at right). The day of the 2010 East Texas Book Fest banners will further direct attendees. There is adequate free parking in the rear of the building.
